Worth Reading {From My February Bookshelf}
ย
My goal is to read 25 books this year, which means I need to read at least two to three books a month to meet this goal. I have a reading list, but I’m giving myself grace to read books that aren’t on my list as well.
When I shared my reading list, many of you asked me to give updates about the book I’m reading. You can see my January Worth Reading List here.
Here is a list of books I read in February:
Glimpses of Grace: Treasuring the Gospel in Your Home by Gloria Furman – I really enjoyed this quick read. I recommend this for anyone needing fresh perspective on the beauty of homemaking through the Gospel lens.
How to Blog for Profit (without Selling Your Soul) by Ruth Soukup – If you’re a blogger who is looking to make money blogging, then this is a must read. I’m on my second read through of this book, and I have plans to read it through one more time in order to fully implement all that I have learned.
You’re Made for a God-Sized Dream by Holly Gerth – This book is in my top five all time favorite books. Every single person needs to read this book!
Because He Loves Me by Elyse Fitzpatrick – A wonderful reminder of how the Gospel does and should apply to my daily life. I need to re-read this a few more times in order to fully take it all in. Filled with truth that I need to hear on a daily basis! I highly recommend this book.
Clean Enough: Simple Solutions for the Overwhelmed Homemaker by Jenni Mullinix – I read this short eBook last year and really enjoyed my second read through this year. It’s a fresh encouragement as Spring draws near and the “cleaning bug” always hits.
What did you read in February? Share with me in the comments! I’m always looking for good books to read.

I feel like we have the exact same book list! I loved God-Sized Dreams when I read it last fall in fact I keep going back and rereading segments. Glimpses of Grace and Because He Loves me are on my to read list and I can’t wait to start reading those. I’m currently reading Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp it’s such a great parenting resource.
God-Sized Dreams is just so good! I keep re-reading sections of it already!
Voddie Baucham’s “Family Driven Faith” is a must read! It introduced the concept of family worship to my husband and I. We are much looking forward to including our son (and hopefully more children in the future) in our time of worship together when he is born in June!
Family Driven Faith is on my list for this year. I can’t wait to read it!
I keep hearing wonderful reviews about How to Blog for profit…adding to my to-read list!
Definitely add it to your list ๐
I have two of those books on your list. I was just introduced to Holley Gerth’s books recently. I have read “It’s Going to Be OK” which I highly recommend. I am in the middle of “You Were Made for A God Sized Dream”. I purchased “how to Blog for Profit” and loved it! I even had a blog coaching session with the author which was very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I will have to look up “It’s Going to Be Okay.” It might even be on my Kindle. And so cool that you had a blog coaching session with Ruth! I bet that was totally helpful!
Thanks for sharing about my book, friend! I will have to check out Because He Loves Me. The others are already on my list! ๐
You would definitely love Because He Loves Me, Jenni!
