True Woman 101 Bible Study

What is true womanhood? Why should we care about the divine design? Why does it matter?

During the weekend beginning September 20th, Nikki and I will be traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to join hundreds of other women as we seek God’s truth for womanhood at the True Woman 2012 Conference. We’ll hear women like Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Mary Kassian, Elyse Fitzpatrick, Joni Eareckson Tada, Priscilla Shirer and more speak on the importance of biblical womanhood. We will:

  • Learn how we have been divinely designed to display God’s glory
  • Grow in our hunger for God and His Word
  • Understand the vital responsibility of passing our faith on to the next generation
  • Intercede for our family, church, nation, and world
  • Cultivate a healthy and holy fear of the Lord; find joy and contentment as we trust in Him

We would love to meet you there! You can get your tickets here (they have group discounts!) or just gather more information from the True Woman 2012 website, as you prayerfully consider attending.

In preparation of the True Woman 2012 Conference, together as an Intentional By Grace community, we are beginning a study of biblical womanhood with the help of True Woman 101 by Mary Kassian and Nancy Leigh DeMoss (Moody Publishers). If you haven’t yet asked to join our private Facebook community, then go ahead and hop in. We will begin discussing God’s divine design for womanhood on Monday. Each day will be questions and discussions that you can take part in, so don’t miss it! Then, each Friday, Nikki or I will share what’s on our hearts here at Intentional By Grace.

Satan would love nothing more than to muddy the waters between manhood and womanhood. You’ll find out why as we embark on this journey together. So grab the book, join our Facebook group, register for the True Woman 2012 Conference, and begin praying that God would reveal His Word to you in the coming weeks as we seek Him together.

Have you ever heard of the True Woman Conference? Are you going?

  1. I have never heard of it. What religion is it? Where is it held? Is it expensive? I have wanted to go to women’s conferences before, but none of them I wanted to attend allowed children, and none of them have a nursery. Since my husband works two jobs PLUS does quite a bit at the church, including bus route, SS teacher, song leader, choir director, etc, and since his hours working away from home per weekbook total over 69, and sometimes, like this week and last week, total over 77, and since our closest family lives in TN and we in MI and therefore have no one to keep the kids (most of the younger ladies at church go to the conferences, and the older ladies are 70on and up and unable to keep up with three kids, , I never get to go… So all that said, do they have nursery to keep the children? I am most usually either pregnant, breastfeeding, or both…

    1. Sorry about all the typos… I’m trying to type it on my cell phone, and it keeps jumping around, so I was unable to see half of what was going on until it was published LOL…

    2. Nishoni, sounds like a busy season for you! We all have them. It’s a Christian Women’s Conference in Indianapolis, IN. I’m not aware of childcare being provided for a conference of this size. I know that makes it difficult for you all, but maybe you can join our Bible Study in the meantime. You can do that at your leisure and just chat with other women online. We’d love to have you!

      1. Thank you, Miss Leigh Ann. :-)I I did get the chance to go to one Ladies Conference when I was pregnant with my first, 7 years ago. My husband was assistant pastor at the time. I had a great time! Maybe I’ll have the ability to go again sometime in the future :-).

I would like to do the BIBLE study. Is there a special place you go to sign ip for that, or will it be coming right over your blog? ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Oh man I would LOVE to go to that conference ๐Ÿ™ Traveling out of state though isn’t exactly in the budget right now. I will see if I can manage to find a book and join the study though!!

    1. Alyssa, I have been there! This is the first year I’ve been able to make it, but it’s been on my “wish list” for almost 5 years! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you can join the study!

  3. So glad I found you! I think the study would be a great way to connect online with other like minded women! Thanks for your heart for women.
