Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe

Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza {Recipe}

We love pizza! In fact one of my son’s first words was pizza. We eat it often and some weeks we probably eat it too much. Is that possible?

Recently we discovered our new favorite homemade pizza – Chicken Alfredo Pizza! Oh my yum – so good! You have to try it…

Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Easy Homemade Italian Pizza Dough {I posted my method on the Grain Mill Challenge blog}
  • Homemade Alfredo Sauce {Hands down the best Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted – simple and delicious!}
  • Shredded Cooked Chicken {I use this method to make shredded chicken from Christian Mommy Blogger’s archives.}
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 pieces of cooked bacon
  • 3-4 green onions, chopped

Method:

Precook your pizza dough for about 7-8 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then spread Alfredo sauce onto pizza crust (I highly suggest going heavy!). Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, bacon, and green onions. Cook for another 5 or more minutes. You want everything heated throughout and the cheese to be melted.

Voila! You have Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza!

Really easy Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza

If you already had your pizza dough made along with Alfredo sauce and chicken (freezer cooking anyone?), then throwing this together last minute makes it a 20 Minute Meal!

Great for Friday night family nights or last minute dinner. And it’s plain delicious!

What’s your favorite homemade pizza concoction?

    Hi – do you assemble and cook the entire pizza prior to freezing?

    Thanks!

      Hi, Janet! You would assemble the pizza, but not cook it. Wrap and freeze. Then you place it in the preheated oven to bake straight from the freezer. It’s like getting a frozen pizza from the store– but from your freezer instead! Hope this helps!
