Breakfast is the first meal of the day, and as we all know, it is arguably the most important meal of the day.

However, if your family is like mine, we struggle to get going in the morning. Not to mention, we have hungry little vultures birdies screaming chirping at our feet begging for food, food, food from the instant their little feet hit the floor (and always before I’ve even had my first sip of coffee).

Breakfast in our house must be easy but nourishing. Protein packed but quick. Tasty but child-friendly.

  1. Thanks for including a couple of my recipes! This is a great list and one I’m sure I will reference a lot. Breakfast is an important meal for us too. I especially feel the effects if I don’t start my day with some sort of protein.
