31 Days of Everyday Grace: The Real Kind of Friends {Day 16}
In the corner of the room, I nurse my baby and smile. The conversations flow as freely as the sweet tea pouring from the pitcher. The room is filled with moms and dads, brothers and sisters, friends and neighbors. Thank you, Jesus.
For what I see is a room full of friends.
The real kind.
The kind who love Jesus with their whole lives.
The kind who aren’t afraid to cry when things are hard.
The kind who pray together.
The kind who accept the joys and burdens of doing life together.
The kind who feel the weight of raising children to know and love Jesus.
The kind who want to change the world together.
The kind who only God can give.
My baby stirs and I breathe a sigh of relief.
Everyday grace.
Genuine friends.

I love this, Leigh Ann. I think it will be worth the wait when I finally find a new church home with friends too.. And the picture of you in this post just touches my heart–it’s beautiful and so full of emotion. That is great photography.
Thanks, Jane!
