Training my children in the way they should go is hard. I never know if I’m doing it right. I never know if what I’m doing is enough. I often feel like I miss opportunities to share the gospel with my toddler. Even more often I’m too caught up in what I need to get done rather than winning my son’s heart.
I heard about the Child Training Bible (not an affiliate link) last year. I was instantly intrigued, but didn’t think my toddler was truly ready for it.
In the last few weeks, I have felt a deep conviction that I need to be more intentional in training my toddler using God’s Word. I remembered the Child Training Bible.
Today I put it together. And tonight I’m praying for grace. I need wisdom to parent my son. I need the Spirit to guide me in training him according to the Word of God. I can’t do this alone.
