Yesterday, I shared one of my family’s favorites: Pan-Seared Curried Cod. Today, I’m sharing a really easy, kid-friendly 20 Minute Meal: Simple Spaghetti.
Simple Spaghetti
Ingredients:
- 13.25 ounces whole wheat spaghetti noodles
- 1-15 ounce can of tomato sauce or this yummy homemade pasta sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
- 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, optional
Method:
Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Brown ground beef in skillet with onions in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain, if needed. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to meat mixture. Simmer while noodles finish cooking. Taste meat sauce and adjust seasonings as necessary. Drain noodles; pour back into stock pot. Mix noodles and meat mixture in pot. Serve with garlic lemon salad and garlic cheese biscuits.
