Each month I share a monthly intentional living checklist to help you stay on track with meeting your goals and being intentional. I’ve found that by supplying this list, it kick starts your creative juices and helps you to hone in on what you need to focus on from month-to-month.
Personally, I find these monthly checklists helpful in making sure I take care of important tasks around my home. I’m really looking forward to tackling this month’s list.
April Intentional Living Monthly Checklist
Review your mission statement
Set monthly goals
Going hand-in-hand with developing a mission statement, take some time this month to review your yearly goals. Then set some monthly goals to help you work toward achieving your goals for the year.

Determine books to read this month
I talk a lot about books. Check out the following posts for book ideas to add to your list:
Update your budget
Put on your calendar one act of hospitality
Declutter and organize your laundry room
Determine if you want to have a garage sale
If you want to have a garage (or yard) sale, then I highly recommend setting a date now. This will allow you to start making plans (and hopefully implementing those plans!) in the coming weeks.
We plan to have a garage sale in June since that’s peak season for our area. We even hope to get our whole neighborhood involved to give us a better chance of making more money and getting rid of our surplus of stuff!
Begin planting your garden
Now is a great time to start planting trees, shrubs, and cool season vegetables. For many, the last frost date will come this month. You should already have your garden plans in place. Get excited – it’s time to start getting our hands dirty!!
Finish your Spring cleaning
This month you want to wrap up your Spring cleaning!
Clean out your medicine cabinet
I try to keep my natural medicine cabinet cleaned out each month. But from time-to-time, it’s a good idea to go through all the bins and get rid of anything that’s expired.
Plan an outdoor family activity
This is my family’s favorite time of year. The roads are clearing from months of snow, and we are tuning up our road bikes for family rides.
Pan an outdoor family activity that you know your family will enjoy. After a long, hard winter, this will get you moving and outside!
