Websites

This page is here to help you navigate the web a little bit. There are tons of blogs out there. There are tons of great ones. Below is the list of some of my absolute favorites.

Homemaking & Health

The Humbled Homemaker – Erin, a dear friend, writes with humble honesty about her ventures as a humbleD homemaker. She says she doesn’t have it altogether, but her example is one to emulate. She writes about homemaking, real-food, and faith. You should pay her a visit.

The Purposed Heart – Mindy, another dear friend, writes from a heart that understands her depravity and tempers it with a humble pursuit of the things of God. She writes about real food, natural living, and other musings of her heart. Hop over and check her out.

Day 2 Day Joys – Rachel, a sweet friend, who I love more and more every day. She heads up a great blog talking about natural health, real food, and every day homemaking. She’s a wealth of knowledge … and I have to add, you never know what she will say next. You’ll love her!

Christian Mommy Blogger – Nikki, is a rambunctious little thing. She’s passionate, loving, and honest. You want the real deal? She’s your girl. She writes about real food, natural living, and her love for her awesome God! Nikki is one of the most caring people I have ever encountered. Want to be cared for? Head over to her blog and talk with her.

Passionate Homemaking – Great blog for natural, healthy, intentional homemaking. Lindsay is passionate about glorifying God, and she is incredibly purposeful in how she lives her life.

Keeper of the Home – Another great blog for natural, healthy, intentional living. I like this blog for the in depth approach that Stephanie takes. I always come away knowing far more than I ever wanted to know. It’s thorough and very, very helpful. She has logged a lot of hours of research, and it’s kind of her to share her knowledge base with us.

Money Management & Frugal Living

Stacy Makes Cents – Stacy. How do I describe Stacy? Well, she rocks my face off. Friends, she is incredible. She’s absolutely hilarious, open, honest, and raw. You get real life solutions to real life issues (like money). She is a wealth of information and inspiration. I do have to warn you though – you will not want to leave her blog. You’ll just keep clicking…and clicking … and clicking.

Real Food on a Budget

Quick and Easy, Cheap and Healthy – Anne is an absolute sweetheart. She loves the Lord, and she loves good healthy food on the cheap. It’s amazing the things she comes up with! I’ve tried several of her recipes, and each one has quickly made it to our top 20 list of meals that I rotate!

Time Management & Organization

I’m an Organizing Junkie – Great blog for organizational tips for all facets of the home and life. I love her Menu Plan Monday link up. It’s been helpful for me to link up with other women who are trying to grow in making yummy meals for our families without the 5 o’clock deer in headlights look. :)

Sources for Whole Foods

Local Harvest – This is a site that can help you find farms in your area. You can find what farms do CSA’s (Community Supported Agriculture), which is an excellent way to go for produce. It is very reasonable and you get whatever is growing in that season. This year we decided to split a CSA share with another family. This is a great way to try it out and see if this is something your family will enjoy! We also used Local Harvest to find local dairy farms. We found McBee Dairy Farm through this wonderful tool.

Real Milk – If you want to explore raw milk a little more, this is a great site. Great tool to help you find local farms that sell raw cow and goat’s milk.

Cultures for Health – A website where people making a food change can find all the products and information you need to be successful. This is where I purchase my starter cultures such as dairy & water Kefir. I want to get into making Kombucha, and I plan on purchasing my starter from them. They also have all the supplies needed for culturing, fermenting, sprouting, and more! Definitely a site worth checking out! Did I mention they are reasonably priced?
