Whoa. Whoa! WHOA!
We must be careful.
Seeking to improve various areas of our lives is an issue of discipline, which makes it an issue of worship.
Why do you want to be more organized? Tired of chaos? Tired of not having it together? Or do you want to bring glory to God with how you manage your time, organize your life, or prepare your meals?
All that we do is a form of worship.
We are either worshipping and bringing glory to God or building the kingdom of self.
So before you get started this year. Slow down and take a step back.
Determine your why.
Ask yourself, “Why am I making this change? Why do I want to do this? Why do I want to set goals and be intentional?”
“How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” ~John 5:44
Search your heart. Confess your sin. Orient your heart to Jesus.
Only the grace He gives will bring lasting change anyway.
Where are your eyes set this year? What is the motivation of your heart to be more intentional?
