Disclosure Policy

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. My husband also reviews each post as what I write represents our family.

I do earn some income from this website.  I am incredibly thankful for that income because it helps pay for the cost of running this site (server fees, etc.) plus…I absolutely love doing it. However, as a full-time wife, mom, and homemaker my time is precious.  I am grateful to be compensated for my time.

If you want me to try your product or service for free and write about what I think of it, I can probably accommodate that as long as the product fits in with the general theme of my blog.  If you want to send my family to the Dominican Republic or Italy (or anywhere else for that matter) for the week, then lets talk.  However, let’s be clear that I will never be influenced by money or extravagant trips. Bottom line.

Some posts include links to sponsors or affiliates, which give me a small percentage of the sale. You are not obligated to use these links when you make a purchase, but when you do it helps to support this site, so thank you! I will be sure to clearly state which links are affiliate links. However, the compensation received from the occasional affiliate link will never influence the content, topics or posts made on this blog. Bottom line.

I also accept ads on this site. The ads that appear on this website have been hand selected by me. I will never have an ad running on this site that I have not used or would not use myself. Careful consideration goes into each and every ad that is placed on this site. However, the compensation received from occasional paid advertisements will never influence the content, topics or posts made on this blog. Bottom line.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are mine and mine alone, regardless of fancy deals offered to me.  Please remember that what works for me may or may not work for you.  I can’t promise an expert opinion, but I can promise that I will be completely honest and up front with my readers.

Additionally, even though I am passionate about nutrition and health, I am not a certified medical doctor, nutritionist, naturopath, or any other practitioner of any kind. I am not licensed to counsel anyone in medical matters, nor may I be held responsible for any course of action that you choose in regards to your own health or that of your family. I am here only to encourage you to research and learn about different areas of health. I am not here to be the final word for how you should go about caring for your body.

I think that about covers it. In sum, I try to make a little pocket change for our family through doing what I love (writing). However, the money is not what drives this blog. I want to help my readers. I want to log our journey as a family. I want to bring glory to God while doing it. You can expect honesty and integrity from me. I’m just grateful for an opportunity to serve you in some way.
