Leigh Anne, I’m really glad you posted this today. I’ll be going back through your other posts in the series, as I’ve been really lagging with quiet time lately & want to change that. I’ve been doing it before bedtime, and by then I’m so exhausted that I hardly get through a few pages of the Bible. Right now I’m in Job (not my fave book) & it’s even easier to turn off the lamp at night. Thanks so much for sharing this. Visiting you from Fellowship Fri. ( I didn’t realize you two had 2 blogs together!)

I’ve tried the bedtime option too, but rarely remembered anything I read. I hope you can find something that works! I know it’s not always easy. And yes, we do have two blogs, and a surprise coming on Monday. Stay tuned! :)

  2. I just love the encouragement for more productive devotional times. I know you are talking about step 4….but my eyes can not help but go to step 5. Plan Obedience. For me, I think step 5 is where I need to give the most attention! Thanks for sharing.
