Intentional Conversations: Why Should We Memorize Scripture?

Welcome to another Intentional Conversation here at Intentional By Grace. You may notice this week’s conversation is a bit different. Why? Because this time it is not Leigh Ann in front of the computer.  She’s enjoying a week at the beach with her in-loves, and I’m enjoying learning how to say, “This is Nikki from Intentional By Grace!”

We recently announced there are some changes in the works. One of which, is our partnership. As a result, you will begin seeing us share some roles, including Thursday’s Intentional Conversations!

I could not be more delighted to share with you why I believe it is imperative that we memorize scripture. Without further ado, let’s find out why:

As you can see from the video, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have a Scripture Memory Challenge right here! It is from the overflow of the heart that the mouth speaks. We want God’s Word to pour forth from our hearts so that we can bring much glory to His name. Please consider the importance of memorizing scripture in your daily life!

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your desire and likelihood of memorizing scripture? 10 being “I want to so bad and I am going to start right now! and 1 being “Not for me. Not going to do it!”
