The snow is finally melting here in our neck of the woods. Finally. We’ve consistently had more warm days than cold, and I even managed to plant a container garden. Not sure if it will produce, but I at least tried, right? Therefore, we are just now beginning to think about summer!
Since we live where it snows two thirds of the year, we are determined to make the best of our outdoor non-wintry time. So this weekend, we sat down and brainstormed a list of things to try out this summer!
Here is what we came up with:

Love it! Mine includes lots of picking fresh fruit at a local farm, going to Annapolis for the Fourth of July, completing the summer reading program at the library, and making lots of homemade ice cream. Plus, taking advantage of all the local events celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Start Spangled Banner and the War of 1812. This weekend, we’re going to see all the tall ships in the Baltimore Harbor, and the Blue Angels fly! It will be awesome.
So fun! I think I need to come up with one of these! It would help motivate me to get out and DO SOMETHING! I love the Denver Zoo and the botanical gardens! Living in Cherry Creek is one of my fondest memories!
It has done wonders for me, Nikki! If I lived near you, I’d kick your rear out of your house…or maybe not, but it sounded quite convincing didn’t it?
