I am sure you are having mixed feelings, but how exiting! Colorado is a beautiful place! We visit there often since it is a close vacation spot for us. I will pray for you and your family and that you will find a place to call home soon!

    • Leigh Ann says:

Dusit, we are very, very excited! We now have a place to call home in CO, and now it’s just hurry up and wait…oh, and pack a ton of boxes (minor details). We will have to chat and see if your vacation spot is near where we’ll be living!

I am at work, so I can’t see vid’s, but I see from the comments you’re moving to my neck of the woods? Never fear, it’s March 2, and I saw three people wearing their flip flops out there this morning. Granted, it’s a chilly morning, and you wouldn’t catch ME wearing my flip flops on a day like today… but be sure to pack them, because you’ll have plenty of opportunities! Maybe we can make up some flip-flop outings! Do you know about where you’re going to be? I might be able to recommend some FANTASTIC churches in some areas.

    • Leigh Ann says:

Dani, your comment MADE.MY.DAY! Really. It did. I laughed my way through the airport when I read it. Although, when we landed, there was snow EVERYWHERE! HA! You won’t see me in flip flops, but I actually shed my coat several times even with all the snow.

By the way, I’m waiting on the hubby to decide if we are going to share our actual location. With Knoxville, it’s so big it didn’t matter! ha! We’ll see…stay tuned. Would love to hear from you more as we near our move date (March 23rd)!

Ohhh, my state! :) If you happen to be moving to Colorado Springs, I can recommend a great church! and I could even give you the name of a Christian real estate agent/realtor (not sure which) if you need help finding a home. Feel free to email me!

    • Leigh Ann says:

I appreciate your willingness to help us! I am already overwhelmed by the generosity and care we are receiving from all the locals! We won’t be in Colorado Springs (waiting for the hubby to decide if we will be sharing our actual location). I do love Colorado Springs though! First place in CO that I ever visited!

  6. petejessnewland says:

You’ll LOVE IT! Colorado Springs is beautiful…if you’re heading this way. We love it here.

    • Leigh Ann says:

I have actually visited Colorado Springs. It is beautiful, and it is the reason I always dreamed of moving out to Colorado. I had my first taste, and never could shake it. :)

  7. quickeasycheaphealthy says:

Congratulations! So excited for you. And I have never in my life heard that word before! How do you spell it?

  8. Nikki says:

So cute…I love watching your videos :) Though I am sad you are leaving since we were finally in the same time zone, you are moving to my home state and you can officially be considered a Bronco’s Fan…right????

[...] Leaving Knoxville, loading up our entire lives, and trucking across the country to set down roots among the snowy peaks of Steamboat Springs, Colorado was not easy (and I’m not talking about the mere 1,500 miles we traveled by Suburban to get here). We made the trip with a smile on our face and excitement in our voice, but it was and still is scary. However, we are certain that this is the Lord’s will for us. God, in His kindness, has given many checkpoints of affirmation along the way. Yet, in the middle of this incredible confidence in God’s amazing work, I’m anxious. I’m worried. I’m restless. [...]
